Success is defined in the dictionary as "the attainment of wealth, favor, or eminence". But what does success mean to you?! For some this may mean increased finances, but some of the richest people are miserable. So maybe there is some truth to "more money, more problems"? Money would help, but then what? Yes, you would be able to purchase temporary happiness. Yes, the people around you would appear to be happy. There still comes that moment when you have the things you want, but you realize that something is missing. Do you keep buying material items?
There is nothing like the love you have for yourself. The love you receive from others is just a bonus :-)
There's so much of the devil built in to keep our children from doing the right thing... An idle mind is the devils workshop. That's how 'good' kids get caught up being 'up-to-no-good'. What can we do to keep our kids' minds occupied?
Wendy Williams just told me, (yes I said she told me! she's a friend in my head; we talk to one another! Don't judge me! ) Forever XXI refers all of their shoppers over size 12 to their section entitled: Expanded sizes! Wtf! expanded sizes! what kind of mess! My question for all my 'size sexy' chicas is: How do you feel about this? Is this supposed to be more flattering than plus size? Personally I think LL had the right idea- size sexy works for me:)
We all have an idea of what we want to do with our lives, but how often do we follow through. Yes, sometimes life gets in the way. But, how many times have we gotten in our own way? When considering most adults are married or have children, it may seem that these are perfectly good reasons why certain things haven't been accomplished. I say it is a crutch. You many have to work a little harder or spend less time doing recreational activities, but should those reasons really stop all of the wonderful goals you have for yourself. Just take a moment to consider how much better you could be for the ones you love if you also took the time to make yourself happy. So I ask you, why haven't you followed your dreams?
Making the right facial expressions when putting on makeup can help you get the best results. Follow this guide
To Apply Powder Use the Puffer Fish “Fill your cheeks with as much air as you can,” says Potter. This will smooth out your wrinkles so the makeup doesn’t accumulate in them and exaggerate lines. When you relax your face, blend any excess product with a powder brush or puff. To Apply Eye Shadow Use the Snob Look forward into the mirror and tilt your head back a bit so you can see your entire lid. This helps you apply color from the very base of the lashes to just above the crease. If your lids are crepey, raise your brow to stretch the skin so that the color doesn’t “skip” as you put it on. Many of you that know me, know that I am a 'Serial Entrepreneur' (In my Lillian Harrison voice, lol). I have worked from home and/or for myself for the last 12 years. During these years I have learned that a lot of work-from-homers don't get 'dressed for work'. I don't know about you but my attitude sometimes is a direct reflection of how I look and/or feel. My productivity is a direct reflection of my attitude. We all know that our productivity directly affects your POCKET BOOK!! (which one you carry and what's in it!) so with that being said, GET UP AND GET DRESSED for work. Even if you work from home, GET DRESSED! You will be glad you did:)
